I am trying to find out more about Elizabeth Evans mother and father mothers maiden name was martin I thought she my have Romany ancestry

It might be a good idea to buy the Marriage Certificate?

That would give you her father's name and occupation (if known).

Thomas EVANS aged 30 is a Rooler in the Iron Works.

Elizabeth consistently states born LYDBOOK, Glos on census.

There is this Evans family in Lybrook in 1851, including a 3 month old Elizabeth??
