<title>Emigration to Brazil</title>
<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Looking for Forest of Dean folk who may have emigrated to Brazil in late 1860s, or early 1870s.  Evidently the experience was horrific, with many Gloucestershire &amp; Warwickshire residents succumbing to the offers of the emigration agents. Charles DAVIS - from Maisemore, his wife Lucy and their three young children were enticed by many false promises.  Thanks  Jenny</p>
