Aylburton was not a parish but a Chapelry in the parish of Lydney so you need to search the Lydney or other nearby parishes for the people you are looking for. Even though some events were performed at the Chapelry the events were generally recorded in the Parish Register.

A Chapelry had a similar status to a township but was so named as it had a chapel which acted as a subsidiary place of worship to the main Parish Church....

Good Morning
Did Aylburton not separate from Lydney in 1894 and become a Civil parish and therefore have its own record books?
