I must give credit to, Julie H., who supplied me with the list, in the first place! Also, to Chris Powell, whose questions last week, caused me to review my well organized (HA!) files and discover I had the name list for the newer section of Christchurch graveyard. This is one time, I'm thankful that I never throw anything away!

As I lay in bed on the Tuesday night in the early part of 1941, and heard the German bombers going over the house. My mother shouted up the stairs that I had better come down because the planes were getting too close. I was about 12 years old at the time and I can tell you now it did not take me long to heed the warning...

Glad to oblige with the Corse Bombs History, and a few other snippets.
The map shows the Corse and Staunton area (Red for Sea Mines, Blue for earlier bombs).
I have a fair knowledge of Family History in the same area if anyone is interested.
