William Burton of Woolaston was hung April 1819 at the Gloucester Goal
for the murder of William Symms.

Other people mentioned are William Hurd of Woolaston and James Henry
Ball (my 3rd great-grandfather) who may have been the parish constable
at the time.

James Henry Ball later married the widow of William Hurd.
