James Wilce was born in 1803 in Ruardean, his parents were Richard and mary Wilce who were probably born about 1778.

James was a butcher in Monmouth until his death in 1831

I have also found Cornelius bapt 14 June 1795, Ann bapt 20 May 1798 & Esther bapt 26 October 1800 all children of Richard & Mary and baptised at Ruardean. I think their father Richard was baptised at Ruardean on 8 November 1767 the son of John & Betty Wilce.
