It appears that some people are not receiving their activation key in order to confirm their registration for the Members Area on the Web site.

Here are a few suggestions that will possibly assist you. These suggestions are on the Help Page of the Transcription Project section, but as we all know, not everyone reads the Help pages when they are having difficulty so I am posting them here as well.

Our registration program creates the e-mail immediately and it should get to you quickly. Give it at least a few hours before you decide it's not going to get to you. Use the "Contact Us" form and we will delete your attempt so you can try again. See the next item before you try again.

If you waited a while and still didn't receive the activation e-mail, chances are your spam system (or that of your ISP) is blocking the verification e-mail our system sends to you.

If your particular system moves spam e-mails to a folder other than your inbox, check there first. (Many programs do this - giving you an opportunity to recover 'false positives' and 'whitelist' the address for future use.) Check your spam system documentation (or help system with your ISP). You need to allow mail from the forest-of-dean.net to get through.
