Is it possible that Charlotte died and James re married?

Hi Bertha

Many thanks for your reply, yes, my guess is that James remarried. My biggest task is tracking down Richard's Birth certificate, I have one cert' that shows James and Charlotte as the parents, the surnames are spelled Cook at that time. Hence I'm looking to find a Baptism record for LittleDean parish that will support the cert' that I have. Also when Richard married his surname was spelled Cooke?
