For an even clearer view of the Forest of Dean, try the new Microsot Local Live beta) version of mapping and aerial views, where closer aerial shots of UK places can be viewed, that is to say much clearer than Google Earth. Try the following : http://local.live.com/ then select Ruardean - opt for Aerial - and close in on the high street using the plus sign to view the church. You can now view the road & place names at the same time as seeing the actual countryside.
