------------------
I was told by a family member that the man who fathered my grandfather was Tom Smith. The above confirmed that fact! Notice the notation that record is confusing. I'll say! Maybe the curate was trying to conceal the truth!
Entry should read:
Child's name: Albert Ernest Hawkins
born: May 6, 1887
Father's name: Thomas William Smith
Mother's name: Harriet Hawkins
Now about this sperm donor.......... Can anyone find a Thomas William Smith in the Forest? I was also told he lived a place called "The Piggery".
Thanks!
