Can anyone find a marriage poss in monmouthshire ( not on free bmd or findmypast), for a thomas hadley and charlotte emma tidmarsh, i traced them as working at a public house in 1891 census in chapel hill, mon, charlotte a book keeper b 1868, thomas as an ostler b1868 ( surname incorrectly spelt hadler ),both single at this time, both born herefordshire, appear married in 1901 with 2 children in abergavenny, and appear again in 1911 census in llanellen, so monmouthshire seem to be a possible for the marriage if indeed they did marry, but children shown as born eardisley, herefordshire, and mary ellen in abergavenny ???.

Charlotte Emma Tidmarsh, born Sept q 1862, Hereford 6A 3448
Baptised 10.9.1862, Holmer, Hereford (parents Martin and Mary)

Thomas Hadley was possibly born June q 1867, Bromyard, Herefordshire 61 541

In 1871 Emma was living at Railway Station, Church Stretton, Shropshire
(parents Martin and Mary)
In 1881 Charlotte was living at Railway Station, Rugby
In 1891 Charlotte Tidmarsh and Thomas Hadler were working at Beaufort Hotel, Chepstow
? married circa 1893,
In 1901 they were at Lower Monk Street, Abergavenny
In 1911 they were in Llanellen, Abergavenny.

According to the 1911 Census they had been married 18 years which would make it about 1893. Their son, Edward, was born in Sept q 1894 in Kington, Herefordshire. I have tried many ways to find this marriage to no avail. I don’t like giving up. Perhaps someone else can find it!

Have you seen the Baxter family tree on Ancestry. They have son Edward dying in Toronto, Canada in 1986.
