Hi Deeds, welcome to the forum. Am I right thinking this couple seems to have travelled around the UK quite a lot, was this because Ernest John followed his father and became a Church Minister, perhaps including Castle Frome Herefordshire ?

Newspaper refers to her father as "the late Mr. B. K. Adams, of Prestatyn, North Wales"

Using FreeBMD to list all "Adams" marriages between say 1870 and 1904, then visually scanning thro the list looking for a male with initials "B.K.", gave this possible choice, indeed the only one in the UK (on this site), family seem to be mobile so don't worry about the location for now;

Searching FreeBMD's "births" this time, gave his full name and birthdate, which seems a good match. Again this is the only record on the database for this name, the great bonus of searching with second names/initials too !;

Poplar district is in the East End of London, just across the Thames from Balham, our Ernest's final home, maybe plausible.

I cannot find a Death Record for Bertram, perhaps FreeBMD lacks this area's data ?

Searching the 1911 Census using Familysearch gives quite a few near-matches, but only Ernest NOT Ernest John. None of their fathers have initials "K.B." as per the newspaper article.
