Richard born before 1618 married Joan Mayer on 4th Feb 1637 in Whitecliff, son Philip 1655-1696 born Newland Almshouses died aged 41 years married Maria born 1659 sons Edward and Richard, I am descended from Richard..any more siblings please? Thanks for the Aston site link, at first glance very interesting, also lots of other Forest surnames eg Watkins too. I've been researching my brother-in-law's Aston line so hopefully that will help me too. Personally I've not got back anything like as far as the 1600s, I've found it difficult enough spotting & tracing my Victorian Astons in amongst all the others. Also at the moment I'm very happy trying to learn as much as I can about our Aston ancestor's personal lives and the area in which they lived during the 1800s before I try to go further back in time.
