Hi Jeff,

Just been over the first request in 2010, yes I do have all of the info etc, however I don't know if we have the right parents for William. Their is no christening for William in 1818 for the parents of Thomas and Celia Taylor. I then went over William's and Sophia children's names, Samuel and Esther were named after Sophia parents, Thomas was named after William's father (that's if it is correct taken from the info on the marriage), That leaves Sarah, Julianne, James. I then put in Sarah as Thomas wife and found that their was a marriage in Dilwyn Sarah Fox married a Thomas Taylor in 1812, and yes their was a William born to them in 1818 at Dilwyn, but the trail went cold, when I tired to find Sarah christening.

Next I tired to find them all on the 1841 census, but nothing, William and Sophia would have married for about 1mth before the census was taken. Then I had a look at Samuel's birth and he was born in 1841 at Walford, so they were living their all the time, I can't find Thomas on the 1851 census living at Walford, yes I do know that their is a Thomas living with Joseph and Sarah in 1851 at Linton, Thomas is with son John, Thomas is down as a widower in 1851, this lead me to try and find Celia burial, but can't find that either, There is Lucy Celia Taylor died in 1843 in Hereford District, Herefordshire, but nothing at Walford or Linton, that I found. Tired to find Thomas death between 1851 and 1861, yes their are a few, if I could get the right one is might just lead me to Celia. In saying that they still might not been William's parents.

I then thought about this, William might have been living with Thomas and Celia at Walford, or he moved to Walford to find work, before his marriage to Sophia in 1841. Then made Walford his home parish before marriage. Thomas might have stood in as a parent for William, if Joseph and Sarah were William's parents then that makes Thomas, William's uncle. Perhaps Joseph and Sarah were out of the area, or were sick and unable to attend, or William didn't get on with them.

Many thanks for helping, Jenata
