George Cooper about 1791 English Bicknor (General)

Hi

I am looking to try to trace beyond who I believe is my Great Great Grandfather, that is assuming that George Cooper is the father of William Cooper born abt 1816. ref 1841 Census

I believe that he would have married between 1808-1816

If anyone has researched the Cooper family in the Joyford area and has info I would be extremely grateful.

Thanks

Hi

I am also researching the cooper family. I have a william cooper on my tree although i dont know anything ablout him yet expect. His wifes name could possibly be sarah. I know he had at least 2 sons called george and thomas. The age fits as he would have been born around 1816.
I was wondering if possibly this could also be your william or if you are part of the other cooper family in the FOD?
I would be very greatful if you could let me know.
If you want to contact me dirct my email
thanks elizabeth

I have a stong feeling this could be my George Cooper as well. He was born about 1786
in Joyford, marries Hannah Tumblins and has I believe three children. Thomas 1809, Sarah 1812 (who marries William Freeman from Lydney), and William 1816.
