Edith Pritchard (General)
Am looking for information on the parents of my maternal great grandmother Edith Pritchard, her marriage certificate states her father as Ernest James Pritchard, Edith was supposedly born at Nailbridge but cannot find any further records of her Father other than an Ernest J Pritchard listed as living at the Railway Hotel in Cinderford during the 30's ( I think ) I am told Edith had a brother Alfred James Pritchard who married & lived in Steamills, it would seem her brother was a fair bit younger than her, Did wonder if maybe Edith was born out of wedlock & maybe Ernest may have been a relative but signed as her Father on the marriage certificate for the sake of decency , who knows ??? Any information on who Edith's Mother may have been & indeed her Father if it wasn't Ernest James , would be heartfully received , & if her Father was Ernest James any further info on him I would be equally grateful for as trying to fill in information on my Ancestry family tree & have it a wall
Many Thanks

Apologies to MPG, Mike Pinchin et al for spotting this a bit late in the day.
Don't think there's been much if any overlap, but in case others have not spotted it I recall this family being discussed in the past, see https://forum.forest-of-dean.net/index.php?id=49317

Have found a burial record for St Johns Cinderford for a George Thomas Morgan who died in 1906 at 8 months old & having been residing at Victoria St Cinderford, I wonder if this could be the one child that died as they were living in Victoria St at the time of the 1911 census, if this is the case then my Nan, Lydia Morgan was not the eldest of 15 as she told me many times, but the second eldest

As George Thomas MORGAN was aged 8 months old when he was buried on 13 July 1906 - have checked for a birth registration on the GRO INDEX which confirms your question.
