I wonder if anyone can help with my research into my 5xggmother ?Susannah Herbert. My 4x ggmother was Bathia/Bethia Jones who was born in Ruardean 25/11/1770 I believe her parents to be William Jones and Susannah Herbert who were married in Ruardean on 15/7/1770 however I am unable to find a definite birth for a Susannah Herbert. I can find a Susannah Herbert who was born in 1737 but I think she died seven years later in 1744. I am hoping someone might be able to help?

In the parish registers for Ruardean there is:

Susana HARBET dau of William & Margret baptised 14 Dec 1746.

and at Walford we have

William HERBERT married MARGARET WOOD on 3 Feb 1745/6
He is of Ruardean, she is of Walford
