Bridge Inn, 138 Valley Road

The 1919 Kellys directory refers to the Bridge Inn at Cinderford Bridge. This probably refers to the railway bridge. Another reference states that it 'at the main road junction leading to Newnham and Speech House'. The Bridge Inn may have once been called the Railway (1863 reference). It had an annual rateable value of £27 in 1891 / 1903. It is still trading.

1851-1863, 1874-1876 William Mountjoy ( listed as landlord of Railway Inn in 1863)

1871-1879 William Mountjoy (Mrs)
