Forest of Dean FHT Forum - Mary MORGAN, about 1779 https://forum.forest-of-dean.net/ Connecting Forest of Dean Researchers World-Wide en Mary MORGAN, about 1779 Mary MORGAN married William SINDREY b.15 Aug 1777 at Weston under Penyard on 26 Dec 1802.

I have tried to find her parents, but as we know there are many MORGANS.

There don't appear to be any Mary MORGANS born in W.u.P. at that time and listed in the Parish Registers. I have searched further afield and a likely entry is for Mary MORGAN b.10 Jun 1778 to William and Ann at Newent.

William and Ann are names which continue through the family.

Another Newent birth was 25 Jul 1779 to John an Elizabeth. I dismissed this one as these names do not follow through in the family. Uneducated assumptions,I know!

Please has anyone any facts which are more accurate?
