STEPHENS...again!

While we're on the subject of the STEPHENS, I went back and searched the forum. I found this entry under Gloucester Inquests 1. Does anyone have a clue who Capt. John Stephens was?

Peacefully Ann Stephens 1807 at Mitcheldean
by ChrisW , Sunday, April 06, 2008, 21:47 @ admin
Mar 9. On Friday evening died suddenly, at Mitcheldean, at an advanced age, whilst sitting in her chair in apparent good health, Mrs ANN STEPHENS, widow of the late Capt. JOHN STEPHENS, of Longhope, in this county.}

Does anyone know if there is a connection between the previously mentioned, (prior post), Robert Stephens of Mitcheldean and George or John Stephens of Mitcheldean? (same era) Thanks.
