Thanks for the info there was also another child Charles Edward Madley born in 1909 my Grandfather, but the family story is that John Constable was his father as well but there was no fathers name on his birth certificate which I have been told that the Mother wasnt allowed to do in those days because he was born out of wedlock.

Thanks for your reply, on the marriage certificate it states that Henry Constable (father) was deceased and was a foreman in a chemical works.I have found a Henry Constable in Llanelly in the 1891 census who worked in a chemical works.He has a son called John Libbert Constable but he was born in 1890 i suppose the Libbert could have become Albert but the birth is out by a couple of years but the chemical works thing is drawing me to this family. any thoughts on this ?

i was hoping someone could help me with some information about john albert constable he was born 1887/88 and he died in 1924 he married my great grandmother sarah madley in 1911 im not sure of his fathers name it has henry on their marriage certificate but my ancestors seem to make a habit of using their middle names and im cant research him on the censuses because henry may have been his middle name
any help would be much appreciated
