Nailbridge Sandstone Quarry (reply)

Does anyone have any information as to the identity of the quarry owner, named by some contributors as "Mr Cinderey", who donated the stone for the building of the Forest Church in about 1816? See the messages under threads "The mystery of Mr Cinderey" and "Mr Cinderey the quarry owner". By inference from family lines by contributors it is likely to have been Guy Sindry (however spelled) but no definite connection has so far been established.

A thought. Are any of the present owners of the quarry lands in the area contibutors to this forum, or do any contributors know them? There might be some information in copies of title deeds.

Hoping.

Stone Quarry in the Nailbridge area

My Great-Grandfather William Bennett born 1852-1922 from Plump Hill, owned a stone quarry in the Nailbridge area, I was wondering if there is any information anywhere about where this quarry was and when it closed down.
