Thanks Jo and Slowhands, you have actually given this to me before but I get so confused. Also, somewhere I have Mary Jenkins as a publican but cant remember where I got that from.

Its a great hobby but can be frustrating too!

Hi there

I would say that everything slowhands has come up with is spot on. I descend from Kedgwin Jenkins 1818 and also do not have a father for him. I think that he had a brother Thomas Jenkins b. 1824 Gwernesney.

His mother Mary Jenkins was born about 1786 Gwernesney and her parents were William Jenkins and Mary Williams(b. abt. 1754).

Kedgwin Jenkins 1820

I get hopelessly lost with all these Kedgwin Jenkins'. Am I right in thinking that this one was the son of Richard Jenkins c1797 and Mary both of Wolvesnewton? If so, can someone tell me Marys maiden name? Also does anyone go back any further i.e. I have a Mary Williams b. 1754 but I dont know how she fits in but she may have married William Jenkins. This is so frustrating to a Sagitarian who is not known for her patience!

I will be grateful for any help and advice.
