Still stuck, so Elizabeth was baptised 1783 Ruardean to parents James and Elizabeth Bennett(she married John Vaughan 1803).....can anyone help me with information on her parents James and Elizabeth - their baptism dates/her maiden name, thank you

Thank you for your reply.....I am getting confused! It seems that Jims John Vaughan 1737 is the brother to my Richard Vaughan 1741.....their parents being Richard Vaughan and Mary morgan......
Richard Vaughan 1741 + Betty Gagg had a son John Vaughan 1777 and it is he who married my elizabeth bennett in 1803.....does this sound right? Can anyone help me find information on my Elizaabeth Bennett?

If the parents of 'your' John Vaughan born in 1737 were Richard Vaughan and Mary Morgan, Ann Vaughan born in 1745/6 is Johns sister

Hi Stephen

I haven't got time to check it out at the moment, but I have an Elizabeth Bennett baptised 29 Aug 1742 Ruardean who marries a John Vaughan born 1737 on 18 May 1762 at Ruardean.

She was the daughter of James Bennett 1707 & Elizabeth.

There could of course be another Elizabeth Bennett who married John Vaughan. If so I suspect Bertha will know. Perhaps Bertha could tell me if there is a connection between this John Vaughan 1737 and Ann Vaughan 1746 who married Giles Brain 4 Feb 1772.

I am looking for the baptism record for Elizabeth Bennett - the only information I have is that she married John Vaughan 15 feb 1803.
Can anyone help me trace her parents? Thank you
