PARKES OR PARKS or variations

Having used the records already available on this excellent site plus use of National Census returns, I have started to build a very sketchy history/tree of the PARKES family in the Forest. I am trying to link it with possibly family members in Salop and Worcestershire around 1700-1850 and later to Newport in South Wales. I have an extensive tree of the family elsewhere but the Forest of Dean area remains un-connected. If there is anyone who can fill in more background to the family in the Forest area for any period, it would be appreciated.
