John was my great great grandfather, born in Herefordshire in about 1823. Not sure when he came to Tidenham/Tutshill but he was said to be a Timber Haulier.
By the time his son William married Ann Jenkins in 1894 John was dead. I am looking for any references to his haulage business. I'm still trying to find his marriage and death but it is the haulage bit that interests me - my mum, now 90, seems to remember a garage somewhere in Tutshill which suggests the business was passed on to a son? Could someone point me in the right direction please?
