So this couple probably the father of Francis jnr. William & Mary married between 1826-1833?

Sarah Amelia MOXLEY - Tintern

I'm trying to tie down the ancestors of Sarah Amelia Moxley. I know she was baptised in Tintern and have her parents stated as being William (a waterman) and Mary. I've located her in 1851 and onwards as living in in Newport with her mother Mary and later with husband (Thomas Marshall) and various children.

I have a copy of her marriage certificate which states her father as being William Moxley and states his occupation as being a Master Mariner (could this have been some wishful thinking?? perhaps it was true).

On various census returns both Sarah and her mother Mary have stated they were born in Tintern, but I seem unable to locate William and Mary's marriage and hence Mary's maiden name.

In 1851 a nephew by the name of Francis Vigors or Viggors (a tailor, b. Monmouth c1828) was staying with Mary. Perhaps her maiden name was Vigors?

I also cannot find any of them on the 1841 census's.

Oh where, oh where can William and Mary be?
