His 3rd Great Grandfather was John Taylor who married Jane Price on the 21 November 1833 in Brampton Abbotts (as indicated by the IGI).
I have found 2 John Taylors Baptised in 1810 in Ross on your excellent site, and thereby is my problem.
One set of parents are John and Ann Taylor and the other is Richard and Mary Taylor.
As it doesn't look as if the Brampton Abbott records have been transcribed, does anyone have access to the Brampton Abbotts Parish Register to see if the father of John is listed. I am prepared to make a trip down to the Forest, but I was hoping I could clear up this problem so that I can then find several relatives in one go as the trip is a few hours each way.
