The registers of Hewelsfield Moravian Church are held at the Moravian Church archives in Muswell Hill, North London

Sheila Selby recently obtained permission for us to transcribe and include these records in the Forest of Dean database and we will have them available on the website in the future.

Moravians first came to Britain in the 1730s and set up congregations by invitation of local people often establishing Settlements with their own farms, industries and schools.

Me too!

In particular Brockweir Moravian records, which are kept at Moravian Headquarters in London, also St Briavels Congregational chapels.
