My ancestors were Harriet Hewlett married Thomas Merrick, moved to NZ I think then started their family.

I think Harriet's sister embarrased the family by falling in love with a groom, and was sent to NZ.

Somebody owned a brewery, this could have been the Merrick side of the family

There are so many Hewletts in the area I am completely confused.Can you steer me in the right direction?

Another thing if I may ask is where can I find the article entitled 'The industrial history of Dean'? I have searched must have missed it.
