it is a different esther, she possibly married a Harding
sometime between 1882 and 1891.

hi there
yes this is my greatgrandmother, I also found her on 1881 census working
at watkins farm as a servant, she had a son my grandfather george henry in 1882
in ross workhouse, the birth certificate does not give a father name on it, but I think maybe his father could have been george henry watkins from the watkins farm she was working on,it is a bit of a coinsidence dont you think.
I have then found her on 1891 census as mrs esther harding living as a housekeeper to a william hill and also george as housekeepers son, I think there is something in this as my father and his brother seem to have been called harding and not cowmeadow some of the time, but I cant find a marriage for her to a harding. I cant find anymore about her after this time.

she had a son before marriage in 1882 born in ross in the workhouse , george henry cowmeadow, he was my grandfather,I think esther may have married a harding between 1883 and 1891.I would be greatful if anybody knows anything of esther.
