I DO NOT KNOW IF THIS INFO IS OF ANY HELP TO YOU BUT MY GREAT GRANDMOTHER WAS MARRIED TO JAMES POWELL. SHE WAS MARRIED TO GEORGE MEEK AND HE DIED AND SHE MARRIED JAMES. I THOUGHT FANNY POWELL WAS A RELATION, BUT IT TURNED OUT I WAS ON THE WRONG ROAD.

I HAVE INFORMATION THAT FANNY POWELL MARRIED FRED WHITLOCK IN 1865 AT SHIFNAL IN SHROPSHIRE.

THE NO OF THE INDEX IS SHIFNAL - VOL 6A - PAGE249. YEAR OF REGISTRATION 1865 - DURING QUARTER OCT-NOV-DEC.

I HOPE THIS IS OF SOME INFO TO YOU.

I`m trying to find a marriage of Fanny POWELL(born Berry Hill 1846)I`ve come across several on freebmd There is one to Frederick WHITLOCK which I haven`t been able to check. This one was on the IGI site but doesn`t seem to be on FOD parish records
Can anyone tell me more about this marriage, please?
