Hi John, Thank you SO MUCH for the info you have given me. I have got as far as Merry/Nelmes marrage. They were my grandfathers parents. I think Williams mother was Elizabeth , i cant be sure thought. My Grandfather Sidney James Merry moved to Bristol but im not sure when, as he worked for B.A.C. Now British Airospace. I know my dad was born in London in1938. So Grandfather lived in London before moving to Bristol. This is were myself and my brother were born. I now live in Dorset as do my daughters and grandchildren,so we are spreading out. My dad lives in Stanton Drew. His name is Alan Leaslie Merry. I dont know if this info is any use to you.
