The Crawshays built some large houses for their workforce, the best known being Rock House near St Johns Church, Cinderford. I think the Colliery manager for Foxes Bridge / Lightmoor lived here.
Old Stone quarry nearby (hence Rock ?) St Johns church is built on "Cinderford Tump"
