The man to contact is Philip Hudson - He had already done a extraordinary comprehensive family tree covering virtually every branch of the Hudsons before this page was up and running.

Her father was John Hudson birthdate unknown but buried in Newland on the 12/9/1728 he was married to a lady called Sarah who was buried in Newland on the 1/9/1728.
They had 6 children
John baptised 25/1/1672
Maria baptised 15/5/1676
Magaret baptised 17/11/1678
Sarah baptised 9/2/1679
Jane baptised 12/6/1681 (not born )
William baptised 6/9/1683.

Thanks for the reply. I can tell you a bit about Jane from marriage until her death and of course her husband (to whom I'm distantly related). Can you tell me anything about her family? What trade was her father in?

I have a Jane Hudson baptised 12/6/1681 in Newland.
I also have an Elizabeth Hudson married to her brother William so I would say this is probably the will witness,although she also had a niece called Elizabeth.

I'm looking for info on Jane Hudson who married Richard Syner in Bristol. They lived at Lower Redbrook and her will of 1736 was witnessed by Elisabeth Hutson who I guess could be related.
