Thomas MARSHALL Littledean 1789-1873 (reply)

Thanks, yes this looks like the record I found, however you have the extra information of his age which I didn't have so seems to confirm it's him.

Would this indicate he is buried at Westbury On Severn?, if so how can I find out exactly where his grave is? or is there only one graveyard there?

Thomas MARSHALL Littledean 1789-1873

I am looking for information on Thomas MARSHALL.

He was born in Newnham in 1789, married Elizabeth Huggins in 1830 in Abenhall they then had 6 children and she died in 1840. In the 1841 census he is living in Hill House in Deans Hill, (which I believe still exists) and in 1851 is a house servant and Coachman at Deans Hall working for Eliza Pyrke.

In the 1861 census he is living in Littledean but is now a farmer and by 1871 (aged 81) is lving in Pleasant Style in Little dean a farmer of 21 acres.

I think he may have died in 1873, but cannot find any burial records for him.

I am coming to the Forest of Dean in a few weeks and would like to find his grave. I would be grateful for any information pointing me in the right direction.
