I have sent for the most obvious on Maggie Edwards Newport Monmouthshire.

Hi
I said i would give the results of the birth and death certs. that i sent for.

25/10/1890 daugh Margaret to Hugh Edwards and Margaret Edwards nee Crane of Rhumney

Death 18/02/1891 Margaret Jane Edwards 22months Uremia for 20days convultions for 5 days daugh of John Edwards, informant Howell Edwards. Chapel Street Deri.

Now i'm really stumped, as to who Maggie J Edwards is.

Thanks to Slowhands for his help, maybe he could suggest how i might find out about the missing Maggie.

All idea's greatfully recieved.

With reference to SURNAME EDWARDS thread and SMT's replies, my daughter-in-law's family are descendants of Edward Edwards and were stuck with the Gladwell place name in 1881 census; many thanks to all who replied to my initial query.
Obtaining the 1884 death certificate was the next option, Edward & Lucy's son, James married Edith Vaughan in 1899 and Edward is not recorded as deceased on the marriage certificate.
