William Stanhope BAKER was christened 14 May 1837, parents William and Elizabeth BARBER (Bristol, Gloucestershire)

I have gone through the various records and found a William Stanhope Barber
baptised Bristol 1837.(Stanhope -Standerwick-could be!)
Williams son William Standerwick Barber was buried at St Mary's Churchyard
Ross in 1885 age 48.
I am 90% certain that the marriage 1836 is the one I have been searching for-
the Folland Family came from St Giles Wood Torrington Devon and it appears several settled in the Bristol area.
The GRO cert when returned I hope will confirm Elizabeth was a Folland.

On the 1851 census, William and Elizabeth's elder Son William was born in Bristol c 1837

Hi M P Griffiths,
The GRO are going to reprint the Birth Cert for William & Elizabeths daughter
as it is not clear.Based on the dates and the fact that it could well read
Folland I think you may have found the right William & Elizabeth.
I will post details of the new cert when it arrives.Williams son Henry was baptised 2/1/1842 (Bristol-St James collection)so that could confirm the Bristol link.I will certainly spend some time looking at the Folland's.
