These Wills are not on line - Gloucestershire Records Office for a small photocopying charge - would forward these to you. Perhaps this would give you the information you are seeking.

Have you searched the National Archives (if you search for MALSON, they list documents)

Search: MALSON - (also can use the Advanced Search) - Repository, Gloucestershire Archives, although it is useful to check just the Surname, as Wills etc of Gloucestershire 'folk' - can be lodged in other County Archives (e.g. London/Bristol)

they do list MALSON of Awre etc.

Moyes Hill Farm (reply)

I asked a question about Moyes Hill farm and the reply came that it once belonged to a branch of the Malson family from about 1540 to 1715. What I was wondering is there any infomation on who lived there. I have got back to Stephen Malson born 1643 and his father Joshua born about 1619, but who was before that. Thanks.E.Clarke
