Hi Cherryl Thank you for the information which was quite interesting. I didn't realise there were so many Cales in the Monmouthshire area which is where my grandmother was born but the Cales I am looking for are from Ledbury in Hereford. I have bookmarked it for future reference just in case there should be a link somewhere one day. I hope you find what you are looking for - thanks again

Thank you for the information on John Cale - it confirms what I was
thinking except that there was a Susannah Cale too that I was looking at. I kept looking for a baptism entry in Kempsey and never found one. I didn't think of looking in Ledbury.

Looking for parents of John Cale born approximately 1831 in Kempsey married Elizabeth Cook in 1853 in Ledbury and found in the 1881 Census in Hereford. No details on marriage certificate and I have found their children in the Parish Records but I cannot find John Cale's family and would appreciate any advice, information or help please. Thank you.
