Slowhands,
I do not have a baptism for Lucy.
In the case of Ann, in her 1857 marriage to Cornelius Baldwin, she lists her age as 21, which agrees with the 1836 birth, and her father as George, stone cutter which I presume is similar to Quarryman.
Thank you for the interest and help.

George MEEK Ruardean (reply)

Jim

I'm glad you had this marriage for George 1801 as son of Joseph and Ann. I just picked it out of the Parish Records as a likely candidate.

Now I have another thread of Meeks to follow through. This George 1801 appears to be a second cousin 5 times removed!

George MEEK Ruardean (reply)

Thank You Slowhands !!

From this posting I did change the marriage of Joseph Meek 1749 to Ann Harris. I am always happy to change my tree if subsequent information is more accurate/appropriate etc.

I have 24 George Meeks in my Family Tree, including 2 born in 1801. The marriage I have for George Meek 1801, son of Joseph Meek & Ann Harris is to Sarah Brain - the same as that shown by CM Fenton in this thread and will wait on the sidelines here !!
