Hi David & Alf,
just to add yesterday I found Claire's current email address by Googling her name, she'd posted a while back on the rather good Herefordshire Surnames Website ( a new one to me) which still had her email link. I'm pleased to say she's replied to my email and I've directed her back to this thread. I suspect it's the same email that you had, David, but I didnt know if you could help Alf, plus I always preferred belt n braces anyway!. Hopefully if they both still want to make contact then Claire, Alf and the rest of the families will soon be reunited which would be great.

I would really like to know about my sister, Lilian, we lost touch when she left Ashley Down, Bristol. I'm looking for my mother's Uncles. William Richard Davies B1919, Geroge Henry B1921, Ernest Manley B1924, Alfred Norman B1925. They had a sister Lilian May Davies B1920 (my Gran), and her daughter Lucy (my Mum) is looking for information on her Uncles she never met, to try and help piece together her Ancestry. Would love to hear from anyone who might be able to help. Their parents were Manley Davies B1891, and Elsie May Ward B1898, I have information on them, but it seems the children split up when Elsie died in the Workhouse on Alton Street in 1927. Thanks Claire
