I am looking into the Watkins' of Bream. Alberta Watkins DOB 1873 was my great grandmother. She married Arthur Jeffs. I was told in the past that a Watkins owned Flaxely Abbey, Baden I think, was a slight relative and also a Watkins who owned Puzzle Wood. But I cannot find where they fit into my family. Alberta parents were Richard and Elizabeth, does anyone know if Richard was a colliery owner? Also I know their son Garnet went to Canada, but do not know what happened to him after that. I know that a couple from Canada used to visit my grandfather, Horace someone I think.
Has anyone any ideas?
