as I wrote there are no "clear" BMD suspects / enties for an Amy Richardson in Ross in that period - the best conclusion is that if she existed then the family did not "do" a civil registration - which was not a mandatory at the time.

looking at our transcriptions for Ross on August 20th 1843 :-

Yes thank you,thats my family, Arthur is my Gt Grandfather.Its just Amy that I can't find anything else for & I am wondering about the IGI entry. Will have to see if I can get a birth Certificate for her.

I have found on the I G I the baptism for Amy Richardson 20 August 1843 St Mary's Ross on Wye, but I can't find her anywhere else, no marriage or death. I have found her sibling's Caroline 14 Jan 1840, Henry 2 Jan 1845, Arthur 6 August 1848, Charles Leigh 23 February 1851 & Clement Alfred 9 Jan 1853, either Census,marriages or deaths etc, they are all children Of John Richardson & Elizabeth. Just wondering if any one else has come across Amy or know where else I can look to find her.
