Emma BALLINGER nee SYMONDS 1829 -1886; Cliffords Mesne (reply)

Thank you for the prompt answer.I know that JAMES BALLINGER,her husband,my 2x Gt Grandfather is buried in St Peter`s in Clifford Mesne. This was in 1910.These details are in the Parish Records.I also believe he was mentioned in the Gloucester Journal.? Would it have been common for married women to have gone back to be buried with their parents.I have not looked at the records for Upton St Leonards yet.
My parents married in St Peter`s,Cliffords Mesne,my mother was living at Tump Cottage when I was born in 1943.
With regards Rita Ballinger.
