I have found Jane Walkley on all the census, but now looking at ancestry found a Catherine Jane Walkley born 1861 and a Jane Walkley born 1866 died 1866 district Pontypool, I am now wondering in Catherine Jane is my Jane. Also found some baptisms at Monkswood and its looking as if it could be Catherine Jane.

You you have the correct family, on the 1901 census Leah is my grandmother she married Harold Pearce from Monmouth.
As far as I know she didn't have a second name

Gill, did Jane have a middle initial (lots of Jane Simmonds on Ancestry burial index, some with middle initials) and what was her maiden name?

Can anyone help me find the burial record for my gt.grandmother Jane Simmonds born 1866 Monmouthshire, I have recently found her husband William Henry Simmonds died August 1912 Lydbrook Hill, East Dean and at the same time ordered what I thought was his wife Jane Simmonds 1943 aged 77 but she is the wife of Thomas Symonds so wrong Jane.
All I know is that my uncle said she was buried in Lydbrook - burial date unknown, she could have died in another part of the country and was only buried at Lydbrook.
Your help would be appreciated.
