Edwin Roberts was the illegitimate son of Sarah Ann Roberts who married John Porter in 1894. In the 1911 census Edwin Barnard Roberts is 20 yrs old, single, living with his mother and stepfather at Plump Hill. Occcupation: Train Rider Belowground.
John and Sarah Ann emigrated with their other children to the USA in the 1920s.
What happened to Edwin Roberts after 1911? I can find no trace of him marrying, emigrating, serving in WW1 or dying.

Any leads anyone?
