Forest of Dean FHT Forum - House fire at Mount Pleasant, Parkend https://forum.forest-of-dean.net/ Connecting Forest of Dean Researchers World-Wide en House fire at Mount Pleasant, Parkend I am trying to research the history of Mount Pleasant in Parkend. I know that there were originally 12 houses built for workers of the Deep Navigation Pitt in Parkend in the 1840's. By 1901 there are only nine left, as a result of a fire. Does anyone know any information about the cause or the date of the fire?
Any advice would be much appreciated.
