Hi Angie

Margaret Brain nee Murrell died Lynville House Heolygeifr Pencoed Glam. but was buried 18 Aug 1912 at Cinderford.

She was still in the Forest of Dean in 1901 :

I am sure you are aware that Margaret Brain nee Murrell's husband Jessie 1849 is the son of William Brain 1807 and his second wife Susannah Hayward nee Harris 1822. Interestingly, Susannah Hayward and her first husband James Harris had a daughter Mary Ann Harris 1841 who married William Brain 1838.

Beata Brain 1834 died 1894 Westbury Union Workhouse, she was there in 1891 :

The Workhouse is something the thought of which in modern times carries a stigma, but remember that without the Social Security we have today, some had no option.

Beata and Margaret Brain

I'm trying to establish When Beata Brain b 1834 daughter of William Brain and Sophia Annis entered Westbury Union Workhouse. Would any one have this info to hand?

I'm also struggling to establish when Margaret Brain moved with her family to Glamorganshire S.Wales. Her husband Jesse Brain b 1849 was killed at Foxes Bridge colliery in 1897. It seem that Jesse's death led to the scattering of my family so I'd be really grateful if anyone could help.
