Hi Barbara

It is difficult to be absolutely positive about which person is which pre registration and certification in 1837.

"My version" of events is that
Cornelius Baldwin 1837 son of Moses Baldwin 1814 & Sarah Philips married Ann Meek 14 Nov 1857. Witnesses Joseph Meek and Eliza Ann Baldwin, Ann Meek had a brother Joseph. Cornelius Baldwin had a sister Eliza.
Cornelius Baldwin 1840 son of Edward Baldwin & Lydia married Ann Bowkett 26 May 1861 Witnesses Benjamin & Louisa Baldwin - Benjamin was the brother of Edward Baldwin and he married Louisa Griffiths in 1851.

Edward Baldwin remarried 9 Mar 1890 to Mary Ann Marfell nee Cloudley, widow of William Marfell, who died 12 May 1879. Unfortunately Mary Ann died 4 Dec 1899 County Lunatic Asylum, Wotton Ville.

Due to there being several Cornelius Baldwin, two of whom married women called Ann. Namely Ann Meek and Ann Bowkett.

1857. Cornelius Baldwin aged 20. M Ann Meek age 21. Father of the groom is Moses
Baldwin.

1861. Cornelius Baldwin age 22. M Ann Bowkett Age 20. Father of the groom is Edward.

If the ages on census returns are correct then the Ann Bowkett/ Baldwin marriage fit, and I have the correct children with the correct parents.

Unless of course there are more Cornelius Baldwins with a wife named Ann.
Any information would be great. I feel like I am going round and round in circles.
